SamaDive · free app

Never dive alone.

Half the divers in Bali are travelling solo. SamaDive is a free community app that fixes the oldest problem in dive travel: finding a buddy. See who's diving this week, post or join a dive plan, chat, and meet at the beach.

Chat

Buddy up before you suit up

Message divers, sort logistics, share a driver to Tulamben. Blocking and reporting built in — it's a noticeboard, not a dating app.

Hyperlocal first

Starting in Amed & Tulamben

Bali's shore-diving and freediving heartland, with local dive centres on board — then growing island-wide.

SamaDive is in final store preparation. Leave your email and you'll be first in when it launches — and you'll help us decide where to expand after Amed.

One email when we launch, maybe one before. No spam, ever. Unsubscribe = reply "stop".

Why buddies matter (beyond the obvious)

Diving's rule number one exists for good reasons — a large share of incidents involve solo or separated divers. But the buddy system is also just better diving: shared costs to the dive sites, someone to point out what you missed, and half the world's dive friendships started with "got a buddy for tomorrow?". Guided dives solve the safety half; SamaDive is for the community half.

Dive centres: SamaDive lists local centres for free — divers find you, message you on WhatsApp, and rent gear or book guides directly. samadive.com has the details.
